The musical, which premiered at the Adirondack Theatre Festival in 2004 and was followed by a well-received production at the Fringe Festival later that year, started performances off-Broadway on October 11 and officially opened on November 6 to mixed to negative reviews.
The show follows Miriam, a discontented Mormon housewife from Ketchum, Idaho, who, in a moment of desperately crazy inspiration, packs her bags and moves to Paris, leaving behind her husband and her successful career as a painter of duck canvases for the QVC Network.
